Creativity is the constant in Alisa’s life. Whether painting, designing jewellery, building sets or developing visual concepts, she is happiest when turning an idea into something tangible. Alongside a modelling career that began when she was scouted at just 13, Alisa studied Art History and French and recently completed her thesis on feminist performance art in 1970s Eastern Europe. Now based in Berlin, she is preparing to move into her own studio and continues to explore everything from acting and photography to styling and design. After 14 years of dancing, movement comes naturally to her, as does switching characters in front of the camera. Off set, however, she’s surprisingly shy, slightly goofy and rarely leaves the house without a book.
