Originally from Durban, South Africa, Azhar has called Berlin home since 2017. Before modelling, he worked in event production, where he learned everything from sewing to welding, skills that still reflect his hands-on nature today. His latest project, however, has taken him somewhere completely unexpected: baking. Azhar recently opened Café Le Buns in Berlin and now spends much of his time there developing his newfound passion for coffee and baking the buns himself.

When he’s not at the café or modelling, he can happily spend hours walking around with his camera. A former rugby player, certified personal trainer and lifelong car enthusiast who once held a racing licence, Azhar is endlessly curious, but family and the kindness he grew up with in South Africa remain at the heart of who he is.
