Born in Hamburg and raised just south of the city, Carl found his way into modelling almost by chance. After starting a degree in Industrial Engineering, he decided to leave university behind and pursue modelling full-time—a decision that has since taken him around the world, with much of his year now spent in Asia. Naturally curious, Carl has a fascination for technology, space exploration and the way innovation shapes our future, from renewable energy and electrification to battery technology. Away from set, you'll find him exploring museums and galleries, swimming, working out or searching for the local underground techno scene in whatever city he's in. Calm but adventurous, Carl is always looking to learn something new—whether that's discovering a new culture, diving into a technical rabbit hole or occasionally jumping out of a plane.
