Growing up as the eldest boy in a big family in a small town in eastern Belgium, Caspar learned early on that the traditional classroom wasn’t really his world. Instead, museums, books and old films became his education, encouraged by parents who chose culture over video games. After leaving business school, he moved to Sydney, where modelling unexpectedly became part of his life.

Today, Caspar is building a sustainable surf lodge in Nicaragua together with friends and the local community, combining his love for the ocean with a project that goes far beyond modelling. When he’s not working on the lodge or travelling for shoots, he’s usually chasing waves or heading for the mountains to ski. Curious and independent by nature, Caspar has always preferred finding his own way rather than following the obvious one.
