Dela was eating pizza on a park bench when someone approached him about modelling – not exactly the career change he had planned. A trained mechatronics technician, he had spent years working in a very different world before modelling opened the door to new people, cultures and ways of life. Curious by nature, Dela tends to dive deep into whatever catches his interest, from technology and psychology to film, photography and video games.
Photography has become a creative outlet of its own, with Dela shooting personal projects and especially enjoying weddings. Sport is another constant: he competed seriously in both athletics and basketball. Whether travelling, behind the camera or disappearing down his latest rabbit hole, Dela is happiest exploring something new – and preferably doing it his own way.
