Growing up in a small village in eastern Germany as the son of a farmer, Paul's path into fashion was anything but conventional. A trained welder by trade, he has since built an international modelling career that takes him between Berlin, New York and the world's major fashion capitals. Yet despite a life constantly on the move, Paul remains deeply connected to his rural roots and nature. Music is his other world: under his DJ alias Elsaq, he plays vinyl and co-founded Moving, a Berlin-based event series that has since travelled as far as New York. From countryside to catwalks and late-night record sessions, Paul moves naturally between very different worlds without losing the grounded character he started with.
